Description

You can blame my youngest brother for the title.

Honestly, I don't know what to call this mess. I based it on an enemy from "Resident Evil: Revelations" that exploded when you got too close or shot it enough. I think it would also work as an example of SCP-610: the Flesh that Hates.
I mainly made this to test out a few different techniques including speed-curing with a heat gun. When I first tried that out, it was with a partially cured figure and it blistered along the surface (the female in this SCsPoopy by BlackHoleInAJar) but this time I used freshly kneaded epoxy. It didn't do as well as I would have liked and it stank. I also tried out making veins and using a new tool I made from hypodermic needles!
Yes, hypodermic needles. Medical stuff is awesome for sculpture work, the more diabolical the better.

Made out of green and gray epoxies, wire armature, a plastic resin stick and toothpicks. I would like to cast this but it wouldn't work out. The spikes jut out in too odd of angles and it would be more trouble than it's worth. Maybe I'll remake it so I can cast it.

If anyone is interested in a custom mini or anything else, check out my commissions info here  SCULPTURE COMMISSIONS TABLEWHAT I DO:
I am a sculptor who mainly uses polymer clays and epoxy clays to make my projects. I specialize in animal and non-human characters. I could do a human character but I promise nothing. My work speaks for itself, as do my customers. I am willing to do an art trade but because of the inherent nature of sculpture work, I can all but guarantee you won't like the terms. Because of the responsibilities of life and the complexities of sculpture work, it is very difficult for me to give an accurate date of completion. If project is needed by a certain time, be sure to contact me well before you need it; especially for something like a wedding cake topper or a gift of some sort. Some projects may take a few weeks while others take months.
[NOTE: Some examples given are a few years old and are not necessarily a reflection of my current sculpting abilities. My skill have improved since the time these pieces were completed.]

Really nice use of texture. There's not very much balance in the figure, however, which kinda keeps it from being extremely aesthetically pleasing. Also the picture isn't the highest resolution.
But I still like it! Really interesting techniques!
