I've got the first two games AND the strategy guides and a PS2 to use them on...STILL sealed in the box because I found out even with 3rd person 'shooter' games..I have a tendency to go into 'seizeures'...(found out the hard way watching someone play HALO, which I also wanted to get!)...
Now I never had problems with 'Afterburner' which was a flight simulator...(and I even 'rode' in one that moved like it!)...or similar games...but then my health took turn for worse a few years back and I stopped playing electronic games...
Then came 'Halo'...and I drooled...and then WHAM!, right in the cerebral cortex? So I'd heard 1st person vs 3rd person 'shooter' COULD make a 'difference'...and I watched SOME of Destroy all Humans in Youtube clips or whatever...and 'no problem'...(I shoulda known better)...then I ordered them, got them and went to a friend's house to see him play HIS before I got on mine...and ZAAAAAPPPPPP!!! Twitchy eyes and all...
Sooooooooo...they sit all safe and sealed in original packaging...in case???
But in the meantime, I've read the manuals and scarfed every image I could find of Crypto and 'crew'...and when I saw BHIAJ's work...and that he might do 'commissions'...and what he'd done...I thought...'HMMMMMMMMM....maybe new talent could do what I couldn't...and I'd at least have some really RAD looking space dude to scare the snot-sicles outta folks that came by my computer????'
I think he's succeeded admirably...and I shall not be surprised if when he arrives, there is a smoking hole in the box where Crypto's blaster 'accidentally' went off and vaporized Cleveland or something...(bwah-hah-hah!)
I would say I'm speechless, but obviously I'm not, so I'll say, 'Most Impressive young Skywalker' and leave it at that. (not bad for a 'first comission' don't you think????
