Here he is. Mr. :iconpondman1955:'s commissioned sculpture of Cryptosporidium 137. I made him with four(4) different Sculpey polymer clays: Regular white, Super, Super Firm, and black, red and glow-in-the-dark Premo.
I made his collar, a little button on his backpack and elements of his gun out the glow-in-the-dark clay, seen in the upper right corner, colored with a bit of blue permanent marker. I took the picture using a black-light, camera couldn't pick up the glow well enough in the straight dark.
The base is made of solid aluminum.

The worst thing happened to this guy during shipping. Despite all that I did to wrap and protect him, he arrived a complete wreck! He looked like he had a full milk crate dropped on him!
I now know that if I'm to ship a sculpture, I'm going to have to make a crate or something! Apparently cardboard and "FRAGILE," "DO NOT CRUSH," and "THIS END UP" written all over it doesn't cut it.

The download is huge, 4000 x 5000 pixels. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
Here are all the WIP pictures:1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

You like this? Want something like it? For commission information, see here: SCULPTURE COMMISSIONS TABLEWHAT I DO:
I am a sculptor who mainly uses polymer clays and epoxy clays to make my projects. I specialize in animal and non-human characters. I could do a human character but I promise nothing. My work speaks for itself, as do my customers. I am willing to do an art trade but because of the inherent nature of sculpture work, I can all but guarantee you won't like the terms. Because of the responsibilities of life and the complexities of sculpture work, it is very difficult for me to give an accurate date of completion. If project is needed by a certain time, be sure to contact me well before you need it; especially for something like a wedding cake topper or a gift of some sort. Some projects may take a few weeks while others take months.
[NOTE: Some examples given are a few years old and are not necessarily a reflection of my current sculpting abilities. My skill have improved since the time these pieces were completed.]

Yes, I'm afraid you would.:( It is a commission after all. It took quite a bit to make this one, I couldn't make another for free.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it.:)
