Ballet Hippo Sketches 2pgs

One of our last animation projects was a hippo (or some sort heavy weight character) dancing on beat.  Unfortunately, my animation never really got completed.  I just couldn't quite get the hang of it.
These are some of my practice sketches, along with a few weird ones.

Obviously, I based her on Disney's Hyacinth Hippo from Fantasia, and she really came to surprise me.  I never knew that I could draw cute and cuddly.  I kinda grew to like her.

I don't know how you traditional animators do it.  You people are amazing and you have my utmost respect.
